yes it is hard to solve coruption problems(especialy in China), but the centrel governement is already trying to solve it, at least they are not stupid and dont see that it will be their end if they cant solve that problem. And I wouldnt say that they try to stall for time and stay as the same as long as possible. If they stay unchanged and without any improvements, they wont be able to exist until today. Maybe sometimes the situation really looks hopeless, but I am sure they are searching for a way to solve that problem and will find it. (Human will always try to find a way to the top, while water flows downwards.)
For China many reforms are still needed, maybe one day the china will even change to a democratic country, but not now!
And it is true that USA are stronger than china TODAY, but it is unlikely that this will remain if china keeps develope herself with the speed like now.
